Filling out your profile.

You will find that established members have their profiles filled out. The reason for this is that publishers are looking for writers and sometimes that profile can persuade them to look at the articles a writer has written. To fill out your profile, press My Helium, My Account (left hand side), Edit About Me. Press the word UPDATE which shows on this page and you can add your profile. This should be about who you are and be relevant to writing. From this page you can also upload your photo. When you do this, press update after you have uploaded the photo. There is a little delay. If you find that your photograph is too large a format, send it to content@helium.com and ask them to downsize it for you.
